~ Each vacation rental home is individually owned and cared for.  We take pride in our inventory and ensure that each home is fully equipped with high quality amenities and furnishings to ensure an enjoyable stay. A thorough cleaning and walk thru is made before each arrival. 

~ Our properties are unique therefore: policies, availability, pricing and contact information will vary. A house book is provided at each property with detailed info on the residence, restaurant suggestions, a recreational guide, real estate in the area and more...

~ Our owners have requested that their properties be smoke free.  We have several pet friendly homes with limitations.  Please inquire. 

~ Each property has an occupancy limit at all times. Renters in violation shall be evicted, forfeiting the entire rental amount paid.  Any event (party, celebration, meeting, etc.) must be cleared through management.

~ Please lock all doors and windows when not occupying the property to prevent theft. Neither MontecitoRental nor the property owner is responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items.  Items left behind will be shipped upon request, for a service charge.

~ Familiarize yourself with the property.  Neither MontecitoRental nor the property owner is responsible for injury to tenants or guests. Properties with pools have a release of liability clause in the lease.

~ Upon signed Vacation Rental Agreement - rental payment, security deposit and cleaning fee in full is due within 1 week. Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of the signed contract and payment.  One week before arrival, guests will be provided check-in info via email.

~ Reservations are non-refundable. Requests for cancellation shall only be fulfilled if management is able to book a replacement.  Guest remains responsible for rental until check-in of replacement tenant.  Remaining funds will be returned, minus a $750 cancellation fee, within 10 days of replacement's arrival.

~ A security deposit is required for every booking. Deposits will be refunded within 10 days of checkout  pending satisfactory inspection of property.  Renters are responsible for damage, theft, lost keys, lost remotes, and excessive utility charges. Extra cleaning fees after departure will be deducted if required.

~ Each property is thoroughly cleaned after each stay. We do not provide daily maid service, although additional maid service is available for a fee. Several of our high end properties will include weekly cleaning with extended stays, 1+ months.

~ The following amenities are provided for your convenience: Bedrooms and Baths: fine bed linens & towels; clean bath mats, hand soap,  facial tissue and toilet paper. Kitchen: dishwasher detergent; dishwashing liquid; paper towels; dish towels; salt& pepper and other various spices, coffee filters, tea, trash bags, and other kitchen items. Laundry: Soap and dryer sheets.

~ Upon departure we ask that house is tidy.  Please run dishwasher, start a load of towels on hot, close drapes and blinds, take trash out, turn lights off, check all burners on stove and outdoor grilles, turn thermostats off, and lock doors and windows.
